IT come with great regret that my first attempt at a blog post comes on the back of negativity. Seeing on twitter and facebook as I do, all the comments about the trophy draw, like “I hope we lose” and “lets get out of this tin pot cup” really gets my back up. We all know promotion is the priority and it always will be, but there has be some optimism for a good cup run. A good winning cup run and the opportunity for a piece of silverware will raise the spirits of both the players and the fans, will bring in more gate money, and who knows, we can even dream of another double Wembley win like in 1998, as a good cup run that year didn’t stop us.
So, come on, stop moaning about tin pot cups, put your faith in Paul Hurst and the team and get behind the boys. Be the twelfh man!
